Earthquake tremors in Kolkata and Mizoram

Tremors were felt this morning along the border between Myanmar and India. Earthquake tremors were also felt in West Bengal’s capital Kolkata and Mizoram’s Thenzawl. According to the reports, the earthquake has a magnitude of 6.1 on the Richter scale, however, so far no such report has been received that there has been loss of life and property.

Yes, the best part is that so far no loss of life or property has been reported. According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was 174 km east of Chittagong, Bangladesh. According to the National Center for Seismology, the epicenter of the quake was in the Indo-Myanmar border region, 73 km southeast of Thenzoll in Mizoram.

It is also being said that the tremors of the earthquake were felt in Bangladesh as well. These tremors were felt not only in Bangladesh but also in West Bengal and Mizoram. According to the report of a well-known website, the tremors were felt at 5:15 am in 73 km south-east of Thenzawl, Mizoram and the people here are very scared.
