New Delhi: The month of September has been one of inflation. Government oil companies have once again increased the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. Domestic gas prices have been increased by Rs 25 from today. With this, the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has now increased to Rs 884.50 in the national capital. In just 15 days, a non-subsidized LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 50.
Earlier, on August 18, petroleum companies had increased the prices of gas cylinders by Rs 25. Cylinder prices had also increased in July. The price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder has increased by Rs 75. Talking about a 19 kg commercial gas cylinder, its price in Delhi is Rs 1693. It costs Rs 1772 in Kolkata, Rs 1,649 in Mumbai and Rs 1,831 per cylinder in Chennai.
Now a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder has become Rs 884.5 in Delhi. Before the price hike, it was priced at Rs 859.50 in Delhi. The 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata has now increased to Rs 911 from Rs 886 earlier. The price has gone up to Rs 884.5 in Mumbai and Rs 900.5 in Chennai, from Rs 859.50 and Rs 875 respectively. Earlier on August 18, the price of LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 25.50.
