On the fourth day of the trading week on Thursday (August 26), the Indian bullion market saw a fall in gold as well as silver. According to a website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is currently trading at Rs 47,555, getting cheaper by Rs 155 per 10 grams. On Wednesday, gold had closed at Rs 47,710 per ten grams.
Along with gold, the price of silver has also declined today. Silver is being sold at a cheap price of Rs 36 per kg at Rs 63,414. Earlier, silver had closed at Rs 63,450 per kg on the last trading day on Wednesday. Gold is falling on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Gold fell by Rs 145 to Rs 47,467 per 10 grams. Silver fell by Rs 273 to Rs 63,201 per kg.
In this way, gold is selling cheaper by about Rs 8645 per 10 grams than its all-time high. Let us tell you that in August 2020, gold had made its all-time high. At that time gold had reached the price of Rs 56,200 per ten grams. At the same time, the highest level of silver is Rs 79,980 per kg. Accordingly, silver is also selling cheaper by about Rs 17,000 from its highest level.
