New Delhi: Government oil companies have released new prices of petrol and diesel. There was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel for the second consecutive day on Thursday. Earlier on Tuesday, petrol prices were reduced by 15 paise per liter. Diesel prices were also reduced by 15 paise per litre. Petrol in the national capital today stood at Rs 101.49 and diesel at Rs 88.92 per liter.
Petrol prices have crossed Rs 100 in many states of the country. The list includes Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. At the same time, in metros Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru, petrol is already selling above Rs 100 per liter. In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, petrol is being sold at Rs 107.52 and diesel at Rs 96.48 per liter.
Petrol in Chennai is being sold at Rs 99.20 per liter and diesel at Rs 93.52 per litre. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 101.82 and diesel costs Rs 91.98 per litre. Let us inform that the fuel prices are stable today with the rising crude oil prices in the international market. However, even after the fall in crude oil prices in the past, there was no significant relief in the price of petrol and diesel.
