The huge-ticket “Brahmastra” has emerged as the most successful post-pandemic opener at the box office in the United States. It has beaten the similar films RRR (Hindi), Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Sooryavanshi despite it being a non-holiday film and receiving mixed reviews from critics.

Not just in India however, the film of Ranbir Alia also had a fantastic beginning in the international market and raked in over $1 million (INR 8 crores approximately) in the BO U.S and Canada, not counting the premieres. Also, $300K came from Australia.

With a whopping 37 crores of gross revenue, Ayan Mukerji’s directorial has overtaken the pre-pandemic blockbusters such as Sanju, Tiger Zinda Hai as well as Dhoom 3. and also made history as the largest opening non-holiday release ever of ever for the genre of Hindi film.

However, the first Monday will determine the fate of the Ranbir starrer, and if it is more than a typical drop, it could determine the public’s attitude toward Brahmastra. It is expected to earn between Rs 30 and 35 Cr in the second day, based on the estimate.

Brahmastra is the creation of Ayan Mukerji. It is directed in Karan Johar’s Dharma Production in association with Star Studios. The film has been receiving mixed reviews and negative feedback from the public. Alongside Ranbir-Aalia, the film includes Mouni Roy playing the role of antagonist, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dimple Kapadia, and Amitabh Bachchan in crucial roles. The superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a appearance in the film.

Brahmastra is staged on a massive cost of around 410 crores. with the exception of P&A and P&A. It needs strong word-of-mouth from the audience to remain in the theaters for an extended.
