BMW Motorrad India’s G 310 R and G 310 GS prices have increased. This is the third increase since its launch in October 2020. BS6 models of these motorcycles were launched. The BMW G 310 R is now priced at Rs 2.65 lakh, while the G 310 GS costs Rs 3.05 lakh. The prices of both the motorcycles have gone up by Rs 5,000. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Let us tell you that the BMW G 310 Twins was first launched in India in 2018. After this, they were launched once again in 2020 with some new updates.
How is the engine, how much is the capacity
Their engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Both the bikes are powered by the same 313cc single-cylinder, liquid/water-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine generates maximum power of 33.5 hp at 9,500 rpm and maximum torque of 28 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
These bikes give collision
The G 310 R gives tough competition to the KTM Duke 390, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in the Indian market, while the G 310 GS competes with the KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan. Both the bikes get USD forks at the front and pre-load adjustable mono-shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, they get disc brakes with standard double channel ABS.
Hero bike prices also increased
It is worth noting that Hero MotoCorp will also increase the prices of its motorcycles and scooters by up to Rs 2,000 from April 5, the company has announced in this regard. The rationale behind increasing the price has been given to the rising prices of raw materials. The company says that the price of raw materials is increasing continuously. So we have to increase the price of the bike.
