Yamaha has started the deliveries of the YZF-R15 V4 within a few days of launching the model

Yamaha Motor India has recently launched the new YZF-R15 V4 in India. Apart from the new sportsbike, the company has also introduced the Aerox 155 scooter in India. The firm has started deliveries to the Indian consumers just days after the introduction of the new sportsbike. The price of the motorcycle ranges from Rs. 167,800 to 179,800 rupees. (ex-showroom). It is at least $10,000 more expensive than the replaceable model at this price.

In India, the new R15 V4 is available in five different color schemes. The bike’s use of first class technologies like Traction Control System (TCS) and quick shifter is also one of the highlights of the bike. It also gets a new YZF-R1-inspired LCD instrument cluster with gear shift indication and track and street modes.

On the exterior, the bike has been completely restyled, influenced by the new Yamaha YZF-R7. The redesigned front fascia was designed to give it a larger bike presence while improving aerodynamics. The motorbike has also moved on to premium upside-down front forks, which have replaced the telescopic front arrangement. It’s still suspended at the rear on a preload-adjustable monoshock. The bike is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels and single disc brakes at both the ends.

A 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with variable valve actuation is at the core of the bike. The engine is capable of producing 18.1 horsepower and 14.2 Lb – ft of torque. Transmission includes a six-speed transmission.
