The interiors of the Tata Punch get a dual-tone theme, know more

Days after spy shots of the interior of the vehicle surfaced online, Tata Motors has teased the interior design of the punch mini SUV. Tata Motors today released a teaser image that reveals that the mini SUV will feature a dual-tone color scheme. As per the teaser, the Tata Punch will feature a dual-tone inside design along with colorful accents on the AC vents.

However, it is not clear whether the accent color will match with the exterior color of the vehicle. Apart from them, the Tata Punch will feature a large touchscreen infotainment system and a digital-analog instrument cluster, both of which are inherited from the Altroz luxury hatchback. Additional features included in the SUV include a multi-function three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, automatic climate control and a start-stop button.

The Tata Punch is expected to be available with both manual and automatic transmissions. However, the teaser doesn’t reveal anything about the gearbox. A lot of goodies in the punch are expected from Tata Motors, some of which could be segment-first. According to the automaker, the punch will have several terrain settings as well as safety features ‘in a lot’.

The ALFA-ARC platform will be used to manufacture the Tata Punch Mini SUV (Agile Light Flexible Advanced Architecture). The front and rear of the 2021 punch mini SUV are aggressive with a high stance. The bold-looking prominent grille and a wide bonnet design will be surrounded by LED DRL lights. The rear skid plates will sport arrow-shaped wrap-around taillights and black cladding. The alloy style is attractive too, and the wide wheel arches can assist it to ride on less than ideal roads.
