Hyundai Casper, the smallest and most affordable SUV from Hyundai Motor Company, is going to debut globally this year. Talking about its price range, the price of the new Casper is expected to be in the range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Talking about its looks, it is said that the Casper gets round projector headlamps that find their place on the bumper, and gets the LED treatment. A thick glossy black stripe runs across Casper’s hood. The angular profile is similar to that of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, but the similarity ends there. The rear end gets high-mounted tail lamps along with the fog lamps affixed to the bumper. The Casper’s short overhangs have disc brakes at the front and rear. The black colored alloy wheels add a premium touch to the profile of the Casper.
Talking about the engine, Hyundai confirms that the Casper mini-SUV will come with either a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine or a 1.0-litre turbocharged unit. Both manual and automatic transmissions are likely to be on offer.
