In July this year, Mahindra introduced the 2021 Bolero Neo, which is just a new name for the TUV300. Measuring 3995mm in length, 1795mm in width and 1817mm in height, the SUV is on par with the TUV300. Bolero Neo has 2,680 mm wheelbase and 160 mm minimum ground clearance. It rides on 15-inch wheels and claims to retain the DNA of the original Bolero SUV, which is famous for its sturdiness on rough and rough roads.
The Bolero Neo N10 (O) is the top-spec trim, and comes with the same 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine as the other variants. It has a maximum torque of 260 Nm and can produce 100 horsepower. A five-speed manual transmission is connected to the engine. Mahindra Bolero Neo SUV is the only sub-four-meter automobile to have manual lock differential or multi-terrain technology, as Mahindra calls it. It competes with vehicles like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
On the inside, the Bolero Neo offers basic features like a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument console, cruise control, rear parking assist. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS and Corner Braking Control (CBC) and more. It also gets independent front and multi-link rear suspension with both coil springs and stabilizer bars.
