New Delhi: Pratap Bose, Tata Motors’ global design chief, recently resigned from his post, stating that he has decided to step down for a better opportunity. He is to be replaced by Martin Ularik, UK design head, Tata Motors, who is set to take over with immediate effect.
It may be recalled that Pratap Bose’s sudden departure from Tata Motors is a surprising decision. Pratap Bose has revolutionized the design of Tata Motors and the last few years have seen a major change in design in the company’s new model, which is credited to Pratap Bose. In the last 3-4 years, Pratap Bose has designed models like Tata Tiago, Tigor, Hexa, Nexon by his team. The list also includes trains such as Tata Motors’ Hairier Nexon and Nexon EV, Safari and Ultros Premium Hatchback.
