India’s fastest electric bike Ultraviolet F77 will be launched soon, know everything here

With the vehicles’ powertrains being replaced with batteries, the next vehicle in line will be on the road in no time. With the advent of 2022, India’s fastest and most sophisticated electric motorbike will start production. Ultraviolette Automotive, which is funded by TVS, has confirmed that it will start its first manufacturing and assembly plant for the F77 in Electronic City, Bangalore.

The business will start producing the motorcycles and releasing them in the market by March 2022, as per the pre-production design which was originally shown in November 2019. The company announced that the facility in Bangalore will be spread over 70,000 sqft and will be able to meet the target of 15,000 units of electric bikes by the end of 2021. However, the company’s ultimate target is to produce around 1.2 lakh units per year.

“Our goal is to create a superior EV experience for the country as well as international markets. We have reached an important milestone in our journey. Narayan Subramaniam, Founder and CEO, Ultraviolet Automotive, told Autocar, And decided to choose Bangalore because of the strong supply-chain ecosystem around it.”

He added that the company has received an overwhelming response for their upcoming vehicle. More than 90% of the vehicle parts will be made in India, as the parts will be supplied locally.

“All our manufacturing processes will be data-driven, ensuring an efficient manufacturing cycle backed by seamless integration,” said Neeraj Rajmohan, Co-Founder and CTO, Ultraviolet Automotive. The Ultraviolette F77 will come in three different versions, each with its own. battery pack. One of the three models will include a 25-kW electric motor with 90Nm torque, allowing the bike to reach a top speed of around 150 km/h. By the end of the year, the firm will start taking pre-orders for the motorcycle. The bike is expected to be priced around Rs 3 lakh.
