Exterior and interior changes of the Hyundai i20 N line in 2021
The Hyundai i20 N line is differentiated from the regular i20 by minor styling changes. The checkered flag-themed front grille with N badging, a sportier two-tone front bumper, chrome fog lamp housing, and red highlights on the front skid plates and side sills are the most noticeable of these. These reed accents carry over to the front brake calipers while there is a new N-branded design for the 16-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, there’s a new spoiler, a twin-tip exhaust outlet, wing spoiler and a brushed chrome highlight between the taillamps. There are four single-tone and two dual-tone color options to choose from.
2021 Hyundai i20 N Line Engine, Gearbox & Tuning
The sportier i20 has the same mechanical package as the petrol-powered Hyundai i20. The i20 N line is being offered with a six-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT gearbox option. Both are paired with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder T-GDi turbo-petrol that makes 120PS and 172 Nm here. There are disc brakes all around, a throatier exhaust note, revised suspension tuning for a shaper ride and handling, and new steering tuning for a better experience in a straight line. The DCT version is equipped with paddle shifters.
