Hyundai Motor today received over 11,000 bookings for this car for its SUV car ‘Alcazacar’. The company claims that earlier the company had received tremendous bookings of 4000 in just 10 days. This number has increased to 11,000 a month after the launch. Commenting on the bookings, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “Hyundai Alcazar has received an overwhelming response from the customers, reaching over 11,000 in less than a month since its launch. We have received more bookings. We are really humble and grateful to our customers.”
The company has already sold 5600 units of Alcazar in the country and is planning to increase its production as demand is peaking. Engine options for the new Hyundai Alcazar will include both petrol and diesel options. The 2.0-litre petrol unit makes 157 bhp and 191 Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre diesel belt makes 113 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai offers an average of 14.5 kmpl on the petrol manual version and 14.2 kmpl on the petrol automatic. The diesel model, on the other hand, claims a fuel efficiency of 20.4 km/l, while the automatic variant delivers 18.1 km/l.
