Hero MotoCorp once again created Guinness World Record


According to Hero MotoCorp, the ‘Largest Online Photo Album of Planters’ has been certified by Guinness World Records. Photographs of 132,775 volunteers planting saplings were received as part of its ‘Hero Green Drive’ programme, setting a new record.

The world record for ‘Largest Photo Album of Planters’ was released on September 21, 2021 to commemorate International Day of Zero Emissions. The world record attempt was virtually spotted by a Guinness World Records adjudicator. India’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp claimed that this is the second straight global record for the company, having previously set a Guinness World Record for creating the “largest motorcycle logo” in August 2021. At the company’s factory in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, 1845 units of Splendor+ were used to make the logo.

Malo Le Maison, Head of Global Product Planning and Strategy, Hero MotoCorp, said, “The year 2021 began with great enthusiasm as we celebrated the important milestone of 100 million total sales.
