Auto News: Yamaha hikes FZ-X price

Yamaha has increased the prices of its neo-retro motorbike FZ-X, which was recently revised for the 2022 FZS line-up. The price of the FZ-X has gone up from Rs 1.24 lakh to Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) thanks to a hike of Rs 2,000, with no changes to the motorbike.

Most of the FZ-X, including its 149cc air-cooled engine, is shared with the basic FZ range of motorcycles. Output stats are the same as the FZS: 12.4hp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It differs from the FZ in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics, with a distinctly neo-retro look in contrast to the traditional macho streetfighter design of the FZ.
