Audi Q7 2022 Book Now, Expected to Launch Later This Month

Audi has started accepting bookings for its upcoming 2022 Q7 facelift SUV. The three-row luxury SUV is set to make a reappearance in India by the end of this month, with a new engine at its core.

The booking fee for the 2022 Q7 facelift has been set at Rs. 5 lakhs. When the Q7 is released, it will be available in two trim levels: Premium Plus and Technology. The new Q7 will compete with the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Discovery among others. Months after coming with an upgrade to the Q5 facelift SUV, the second generation Q7 facelift SUV will hit the Indian markets. When the BS6 emission norms came into force, Audi pulled the Q7 from the Indian market. The 2022 Q7 is currently being produced at the Audi factory in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The SUV has started hitting showrooms across the country ahead of its official launch later this month.

The facelift version of the Audi Q7 in its most recent avatar will see visual upgrades on the exterior as well as the interior. The front end will be updated to match the rest of the Audi Q series. New trademark daytime running lights, a new grille with chrome frame, and Matrix LED headlights are all part of the package. A new bumper with wider air intakes has been added, as well as new alloy wheels. The rear lights of the Q7 will be modified to LED taillights with chrome trim.

The most important and significant change in the Q7 facelift SUV has been found under the hood. The SUV will be powered by a new 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged petrol engine mated to an eight-speed automated transmission. This engine is expected to produce a maximum power output of 340 horsepower and a peak torque output of 500 Nm. It has a top speed of 250 kmph and can accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in less than six seconds. A standard quattro all-wheel-drive system will be included in the Q7 facelift.
