Bhopal: After Habibganj railway station in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, now another railway station is going to be renamed. State CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that the name of Patalpani Railway Station in Indore will be changed to Tantiya Mama Railway Station. CM Chouhan tweeted, ‘Tribal pride, the sacrifice day of Mama Tantiya Bhil is on 4th December. The bus stand and Patalpani railway station in Indore will be named after Tantiya Mama at a cost of Rs 53 crore.
In the concluding march of Tribal Pride Week, CM Shivraj said, ‘The kingdom of Rani Kamalapati was won by friend Mohammad Khan by deceit. The queen sacrificed her life but did not accept the submission. In her name, PM Modi has honored the tribal community by renaming Habibganj railway station as Rani Kamalapati. CM Shivraj Singh said, “I am blessed that I bow to you in Raj Gondwana of 52 forts. Our kings of Gondwana served the subjects and hundreds of years ago, they did excellent work in water management to guide the world “
Attacking Congress, Shivraj Singh said that Congress did not respect tribal heroes, taught wrong history. Heroes like Lord Birsa Munda, Tantiya Mama, Shankar Shah, Raghunath Shah, Rani Laxmibai were neglected. We will honor his pride and contribution.
