Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) on Wednesday said that the deliveries of its recently launched model XUV700 will start from the end of this month. The delivery of the petrol variant will start from October 30 while the delivery of the diesel variant will start from the last week of November. The company said that it has secured 65,000 bookings of the XUV700 in two weeks of initiating the process. The company started booking the model on 7 October.

M&M said it has partnered with one of the top three global consulting companies to design and implement an algorithm-based process for delivery. “The aim is to streamline the delivery process for customers, based on a combination of parameters, including volume of bookings at city and dealer level, ratio of bookings online and at dealer counters and version-level production feasibility based on supply chain constraints,” the automaker said in a statement. It added that the delivery timelines for both petrol and diesel variants from October 27, 2021 will be communicated to the customers by their respective dealerships. The automaker said the date could change depending on the current global supply chain scenario. Bookings are currently open to all customers, both on-line and through the nearest dealership, for which the prices will be valid at the time of delivery. The company is offering the XUV700 in two series – MX and AdrenoX (AX). The XUV700 is offered with diesel and gasoline engines and five and seven seater capacities, along with manual and automatic options. It also comes with an optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) spec trim.
