Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Shweta Tripathi have played key roles in Mirzapur. Shweta impressed everyone with her powerful performance as Golu in Season 3. Now, she has spoken about Mirzapur 4 and also hinted at its possible release date.
Shweta Tripathi’s Update on Mirzapur 4
In an interview with NDTV, Shweta Tripathi (who plays Gajgamini “Golu”) said fans will hear about Season 4 very soon. She reminded everyone that Season 3 dropped on July 5, 2024—just one day before her birthday—and hinted at another update around her next birthday.
Work Is Underway on Season 4 and the Film
Shweta revealed that production on both Mirzapur Season 4 and a Mirzapur film is happening at the same time. She said, “Work is going on very vigorously. I can’t wait to get back on that set.”
Golu’s Return and Birthday Surprise
Talking about her role, Shweta smiled, “Mirzapur has been one of my favorite sets. I love playing Golu, and when people call me ‘Golu Didi,’ it makes me so happy.” She added that, since Season 3 released around her birthday, she hopes the makers will share good news about Season 4 on her birthday too.
