Tata Motors is all set to launch the Tata Curvv EV, a highly anticipated electric SUV that blends modern design, advanced technology, and long-range efficiency. The Curvv EV will mark Tata’s next-generation electric mobility push, built on the brand’s Gen 2 EV architecture that promises improved performance, faster charging, and enhanced safety.
Engine and Performance
The Tata Curvv EV will be powered by Tata’s new Gen 2 electric platform, designed to deliver high power output and instant torque for smooth acceleration. While Tata has not officially revealed the exact power figures, it is expected to deliver around 170 bhp, ensuring strong performance both in city and highway conditions. The car is expected to offer multiple drive modes to optimize energy consumption and performance according to driving needs.
Mileage and Range
The Tata Curvv EV is expected to offer a driving range of approximately 450–500 km on a single charge, depending on the variant. This makes it one of the most efficient EVs in its category. The battery pack will support fast-charging capability, allowing the SUV to charge up to 80% in less than an hour using a DC fast charger, making it ideal for long journeys and quick recharges.

Other Specifications
Built on Tata’s latest EV architecture, the Curvv EV will feature a spacious cabin with modern amenities. It will come equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, and connected car features. Safety will be enhanced through multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, 360-degree camera, traction control, and ADAS-level driver assistance systems.
Look and Design
The design of the Tata Curvv EV represents Tata’s new coupe-SUV styling language. It features a sleek sloping roofline, LED light bar running across the front and rear, flush door handles, and aerodynamic body lines. The stylish alloy wheels, sculpted bumpers, and coupe-inspired silhouette give it a futuristic and premium appeal.
Price and Offer
The Tata Curvv EV is expected to be priced between ₹20 lakh and ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra XUV400. Tata Motors is also likely to offer attractive introductory pricing and financing options to promote early adoption of this new-generation electric SUV.

Additional Features
Some of the key features expected in the Tata Curvv EV include regenerative braking, vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology, customizable ambient lighting, OTA (Over-The-Air) software updates, automatic climate control, and voice-activated controls. The EV will also include a high-end sound system and premium leather upholstery to ensure a comfortable driving experience.
Performance
The Curvv EV is built to deliver both performance and efficiency. Its strong motor and responsive handling promise a smooth and confident drive. The low center of gravity due to the battery placement enhances stability, while advanced suspension ensures comfort on Indian roads. With zero tailpipe emissions, the Curvv EV combines eco-friendly performance with Tata’s reliability and innovation.
