Whenever there is talk of an Indian SUV, the name of Mahindra comes first on the tongue. Now the company is ready to make a splash once again. Something very special is going to be introduced at the “Mahindra Freedom_NU” showcase to be held in Mumbai on Independence Day i.e. 15 August 2025, glimpses of which have been released by the company in the name of Vision.T, Vision.S and Vision.SXT.
Vision.T: First glimpse of Thar EV
Everyone’s eyes were stopped after seeing the Vision.T concept. It is clear from its design elements and styling that it is giving a glimpse of Mahindra Thar EV. Now there will be a chance to see a powerful off-roader like Thar in electric avatar. This SUV seems to be the result of thinking much ahead of the earlier Thar.e concept, which can start a new chapter of Mahindra’s EV design.
Vision.S: Is this a hint of Scorpio EV
The name and teaser of Vision.S are speculating that this could be the first glimpse of the pre-production version of Mahindra Scorpio EV. Its silhouette and muscular body point towards an electric Scorpio, which will not only be powerful but will also be a new beginning in terms of environment. Mahindra’s new electric technology and strong range can be seen in this model.
Vision.SXT: EV avatar of Scorpio N Pickup
The glimpse of Mahindra’s Vision. The SXT concept that has come out makes it clear that it could be a hint of the electric version of the Scorpio N Pickup shown at the Futurescape event in South Africa in 2023. The tagline “A vision designed for bold adventures” with a clamshell bonnet, heavy-duty fenders, wide tires and rugged design in this vehicle is presenting it as a hardcore off-roader.
More explosive launches in the coming months
It is also being told that Mahindra is not going to be limited to just these three concepts in this showcase. The company is planning to show at least three more concepts. Some of these will also give a glimpse of a new platform, which can become the basis of many new models in the coming years.
This entire plan also includes facelift versions of XUV700 and Thar, new generation of Bolero and a compact electric SUV based on XUV 3XO, whose testing has already started on the roads. That is, Mahindra is going to re-introduce its traditional models with new technology and style.
A step towards a new beginning
This EV roadmap of Mahindra shows that the company is not just making vehicles electric, but is engaged in changing the definition of the entire SUV segment. Vision.T, Vision.S and Vision.SXT are not just models, but part of a new thinking, which has a strong combination of performance, sustainability and style.
