Tata Nexon EV Max 2022 Coming With More Range And Features Check List
Tata Nexon EV Max Range: The long-range Nexon EV from Tata Motors will be available for sale in India from May 11. The new car has been named Nexon EV Max. One of the key features of this car will be its updated powertrain and battery which will enable it to cover longer distances than the existing electric car, but apart from longer range, the car will also be equipped with many other new features. Tata recently released a new teaser of the upcoming long-range Nexon EV which confirms that it will get a new park mode.
Also, instead of the rotary gear selector, there is a new screen displaying P-R-N-D. Closer to the screen, toggles for Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) and Auto Hold (earlier for a sub-4 meter SUV) are placed. The SUV will also get a hill descent control button below the climate control knobs.
The new Nexon EV Max is also likely to get adjustable regenerative braking and the teaser also suggests a two-button indicator with a battery icon next to the EPB, and this could be a sign of the same. The new car is expected to have a bigger 40kWh battery. Compared to the current 30.1 kWh pack. This new pack can support charging for the more powerful 136PS electric motor. Together, it is expected to improve the 312km ARAI-range of the standard SUV.
In terms of exterior looks, the SUV will look a lot like the current car. However, this update could make use of 5-spoke alloy wheels and rear disc brake. Official bookings are expected to start on the same day it will be launched. It is expected to be sold with the standard model, albeit at a higher price.
