New Delhi: The whole country is celebrating 100 crore vaccinations. The goal was very tough, but the health workers and frontline workers achieved it with their hard work. You can see the Archaeological Survey of India of the Ministry of Culture lighting up 100 monuments in tricolor across the country, as India has completed the historic milestone of 100 crore COVID vaccinations in one of the world’s largest and fastest vaccination campaigns. In view of this, the tricolor is being illuminated as a symbol of respect and gratitude to the Corona warriors who have contributed in the fight against the Kovid epidemic.
UNESCO World Heritage Sites among the 100 monuments being illuminated in the tricolour – Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar in Delhi, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri in Uttar Pradesh, Konark Temple in Odisha, Mamallapuram Rath Temple in Tamil Nadu, St. Francis Are included. Assisi Church in Goa, Khajuraho in Rajasthan, the forts of Chittor and Kumbhalgarh, as well as the ruins of the ancient Nalanda University in Bihar and Dholavira (recently granted World Heritage status) in Gujarat have been excavated.
Last night (till the night of 21 October) 100 memorials glowed in the tricolour, expressing gratitude to the corona warriors, vaccinators, scavengers, paramedics, support staff and policemen etc.
